ARE ALL YOUR PIECES IN PLACE?

PREFACE

As you read this book you will discover who you really are and how you can become the best you can be.
Look into a mirror. What do you see? Beautiful baby blues or brilliant brown eyes, perhaps. That's you, the physical you. Look deeper. Behind those physical eyes is the thinking part of you, your mental self, the part of you that's constantly making choices about your life. You also have an emotional you, which constantly has feelings about those choices. And there's the vibrational part of you that electrically radiates your feelings outward. It attracts everyone and everything to you-or repels them. Finally, you have a spiritual self, which supplies inspiration, intuition, and enlightenment.
You have a physical, mental, emotional, vibrational, and spiritual self. Just as your physical self needs food and exercise to be healthy and filled with energy, each of your other selves must be given proper nourishment and exercise, as well. In this book, you will learn the specific food and exercise for each of your selves.
When you feed and nourish the whole you, your system becomes a perfectly balanced whole. You are limitless. You have the power and freedom to create a life filled with joy. By making only a few small changes in how you think, feel, speak, and act, you can create great changes in your prosperity, relationships, and every other area of your life.
Don't spend your life struggling to overcome problems. Create the life you want! This book will help you take a huge leap forward in every aspect of your life.

INTRODUCTION

BE THE BEST YOU CAN BE

Every man and woman has a principle of balance and a pattern of perfection given to us by a higher power.
The years you spend on this earth should be an exciting journey, giving you countless opportunities to establish that perfectly balanced pattern of perfection. You are unique, one of a kind-the only one of you there will ever be. You're here to add dimension to the person you are and the person you're becoming. Are All Your Pieces in Place will help you understand yourself, create the desire in your heart to become the best person you can possibly be, and provide examples of how you can accomplish these goals.

Look at Yourself

Have you ever stopped to really look at yourself in a mirror? Undoubtedly you've done a quick hair-and-make up check or glimpsed at your passing reflection in a windowpane or the clear blue of a summer lake. But have you really looked at your inner self? Have you considered how your inner self thinks and feels? Your inner self is as much a part of you as the outer person your friends, relatives, and associates see. Your inner self greatly influences your actions, your relationships, your prosperity, and all you do and have.
A better question is, have you looked at your inner selves, because you are made up of several parts. All these parts influence and affect each other, and they contribute to the one balanced or unbalanced whole that is you. The first step to becoming the best you can be is recognizing the fact that beyond the physical body you have equally important mental, emotional, vibrational, and spiritual parts.
Knowing this, you can agree it's no wonder people are often confused, depressed, stifled, overwhelmed, burdened, and can't seem to get ahead. They simply aren't all there-and they don't even know it. Not only are they unaware of all their different bodies (or parts); they've have starved these important inner selves to the point that they're functioning at a survival level. Nourishing all these bodies is as important as nourishing the physical body. To be a truly balanced, thriving, happy, healthy person, you must also exercise all these bodies just as you do your physical body.
If you decided to starve your physical self and simply quit eating, you'd soon find your physical performance was severely affected. Likewise, if you limited your physical movement, stiffness and soreness would set in and you'd lose the ability to be agile and fit. There are those among us who are physically present (some just barely) but they ignore or deny the fact that they have a mental body that needs daily immediate attention, an emotional body crying for relief, a spiritual body that has been denied, and a vibrational body filled with shorts and blockages.
Each of these inner selves must be fed and exercised. If you begin feeding and exercising your inner selves as well as your outer self, you will literally come back to life. You will create an amazing sense of balance in your body. You'll find joy and delight in every day and every experience. You'll look at yourself as a new person-and indeed, you'll become one. You will be the real you, the whole you, the magnificent you!

Why Didn't Anyone Tell Me?

Did anyone tell you you're made up of five different parts which, when functioning synergistically, allow you to be balanced and create the life you desire? Well, they didn't tell me either! Why? It beats me! Quite frankly, I'm baffled. How I can be successful in creating the life I want is something someone really should have told me during my growing up years. There's nothing better to learn than the reason one person succeeds, while another person who has the same parents, lives on the same street, or works in the same place has serious problems with life. This is Life 101!
These important life skills should be emphatically repeated to all children from the time they're old enough to communicate. It should be taught to everyone on this planet who has ears to hear.
My parents didn't tell me about this. Not one teacher alluded to it in elementary school. I went all the way through high school without even one class on the subject. I heard not a hint of anything about it in college, and of course, law school wouldn't think of supplying anything as useable as life skills. So who's telling us? No one. Here's where you come in. Once you read this entire book, please pass it on. The whole process comes together by the end of the book; once you've got all the little details, share it with someone else. Tell your children; your friends; your neighbors; tell the world. Someone has to spread the good news and I'm nominating you! Where more is given, more is expected. Once you know and understand, give back. Tell others.
Does gravity affect you or the way you live your life? Well, if you live on this planet it certainly does. Without gravity, you wouldn't age, become saggy and baggy when you get old, and what goes up wouldn't come down. Your life would be different. Gravity definitely affects you, but you can explain it scientifically? If you can, congratulations. If you can't, it doesn't matter. Whether you can explain it or not, gravity influences you every moment. It's the same with universal rules that affect your personal success. If you live in the universe, whether or not you're aware of these rules, they affect you every day and influence your life. How you use and interact with these rules determines your success in life. You don't need to understand them scientifically; simply being aware of them is a benefit to you. Once you know about them, you can use them to your advantage. You can use them as tools for success. Don't keep these laws a secret. Let others benefit too. Please, spread the word!
Tell others their physical self is just a vehicle that takes them where they're going. Inside is the driver. They have a mental driver (mental self) that decides where to go, an emotional driver (emotional self) that provides feelings about those decisions. They have a vibrational driver (vibrational self) which puts the vehicle in gear and actually sets it in motion. They have a spiritual driver (spiritual self) which adds the wisdom, passion, and inspiration to know they'll make it. When all of the drivers work together as a team, we reach our destination and the ride is joyous. When one or more of the drivers are missing or are not working in unity, the ride is bumpy, and chances are we'll never arrive at our destination.
Are All Your Pieces in Place? provides a simple, step-by-step process so you can take the driver's seat and reach places you've never imagined.
