This is an example of how consistently writing affirmations with faith can result in success, even if it appears to an observer that the goal will never become a reality. About five years ago, I began writing that my home in California would supply me a half-a-million dollar profit.
At that time, it was only worth two hundred thousand dollars. I didn't know how it could come true, but I consistently wrote affirmations and believed it would someday happen. Since I began my affirming process, I purchased another home and rented that one. The renters destroyed the home, didn't pay rent, and caused me numerous problems. I could have felt resentment and spoken negatively about the renters. Instead, when I was tempted to do this, I blessed them. When they were finally evicted, I could have sold the house, but even with inflation, because of the house's poor condition I knew I wouldn't get the profit I was affirming. Then the fires swept through the area in California where my house stood and it burned to the ground. Again, I could have seen this as a negative disastrous situation, but I chose to see it as a positive outcome and continued writing my affirmations. Even when my insurance company informed me that I was extremely under-insured, and because of that I wouldn't get what the house was worth, I kept affirming my goal. Eventually, my insurance company offered me one hundred fifty thousand dollars more than the amount for which my house was insured if I would settle the claim. With this extra amount, I received my affirmed half-million-dollar profit.
Never underestimate the power of consistently written affirmations! I agree - words do have power.
